Located in Wrexham, the largest town in north Wales, it remains an accredited institution of the University of Wales and offers both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as professional courses.
The 6,500 students who are currently enrolled at Wrexham Glyndwr University can take advantage of a large sports centre, radio studio, sound recording studio, engineering laboratories, art gallery, IT facilities, theatre studios, motor racing team, a dedicated crime scene lab and notably the unique asset of a Chinese medicine clinic. Wrexham Glyndwr University became the only university to own an international football stadium when it bought the Racecourse Ground of Wrexham FC, providing more space and facilities for students.
